Measuring Success (and the Analytics Revolution)

Nearly 2000 people took part last week in the 2nd Annual Forward Technology Festival over its 10 days of events. On Friday, the Forward Technology Conference brought together over 150 of the top technology and entrepreneurial minds from Madison and beyond. The event proved to be a very valuable and insightful day for all.

The importance of measuring key business metrics seemed to be a reoccurring theme in presentations throughout the day. Max touched on it while on a panel talking about lessons learned from his previous startup, and Justin spoke in great detail about metrics during his "Be Inspired" conference session. His 'Analytics Revolution' presentation focused on the importance of identifying key metrics and the tools for measuring them.
